Spiel Ventures is a Tyler-area software studio in East Texas that designs and engineers custom software, websites, and marketing systems for small to mid-sized businesses.
Do I need a spec or a tech-savvy pitch before I reach out?
No. Most clients start with a problem, not a spec - "this eats three hours a week" or "our site doesn’t get us calls." Tell us what’s slowing your business down, in your own words, and we’ll figure out the right build together on the first call.
What is your typical project budget?
We work on projects across a wide range - from small focused builds to enterprise custom software. Every engagement gets a dedicated senior team from start to finish, fixed pricing against fixed milestones, and weekly demos. Use the contact form to scope what you're thinking - there's no minimum, and we'll tell you if we're the right fit or point you somewhere that is.
How does payment work?
We agree on a fixed price and a milestone schedule before any work starts, so you always know what’s owed and why. Each milestone ships as working software or a live page - not a status update - and billing follows delivery. No hourly surprises, no invoice you can’t map to progress.
How long does a typical engagement take?
A single feature or a small site can ship in 1–2 weeks. Fuller marketing sites take 2–4 weeks, and custom software MVPs ship in 8–12 weeks. Every engagement runs in fixed milestones with weekly demos, regardless of size.
Who actually works on my project?
The same small senior team you talk to on day one builds the entire project - no rotating juniors, no subcontractor you’ve never met picking it up halfway through. That’s the reason the studio stays small.
Do you offer support after launch?
Yes. When your project ships, we train your team on it and stay on call afterward. Software breaks at 5pm on a Friday sometimes - we’re still around to fix it, not gone the day the invoice clears.
How do you use AI in your projects?
AI is used where it measurably accelerates outcomes - code generation, content workflows, customer-facing agents - never as decoration. Every project keeps a human in the loop.
Do you work with clients outside Texas?
Yes. We are headquartered in East Texas (the Tyler area) and serve clients across the United States and internationally on a remote-first basis.
